SB 2802  RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEE HEALTH BENEFITS             CPN/LRE
        Creates an employer-union trust fund as a single public employees
        health benefit delivery system administered by a board of
        trustees.

SB 2803  RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND           CPN/LRE, WAM
        Reduces state and county employer contributions for health
        benefits.

SB 2790  RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND           CPN/LRE, WAM
        Requires the Public Employees Health Fund Board of Trustees to
        implement the following for the benefit plan year beginning July
        1, 2001: (1) preferred provider organization plans for medical
        benefit plans for medical benefits; (2) Medicare+Choice plans; (3)
        Revised drug benefit plans; and (4) a revised methodology for
        computing out-of-pocket costs to ensure comparability for all
        employee beneficiaries

SB 2325  RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND           CPN, WAM
        Allows for the porting of Medicare Part B to employee
        organizations.

SB 2327  RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND           CPN, WAM
        Allows Public Employees Health Fund to offer different benefits to
        retirants

SB 2125  RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND           CPN, WAM

 
        Requires carriers who receive overpayments from the public
        employees health fund to return them to the State or county at the
        carrier's earliest possible opportunity, subject to the payment of
        penalties.  Requires contracts entered into between the fund and a
        carrier to specify that payments shall be made on a monthly basis
        to carriers and shall be audited annually.

committee clerk, Room 202, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing.
Testimony may also be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate

islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the
hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.

participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language interpreter,
wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for the disabled), please
contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior to the hearing so arrangements can
be made.

testimonies for the hearing will be available for shared use by members of
the public.
